Who Turns Up in Your Kitchen
Universal Appliance works out of Paramus, and Teaneck is four miles east along Route 4. That is the whole territory. A split-level off Century Road with a freestanding range and a second refrigerator in the garage, a rebuilt kitchen four streets over carrying a 48-inch range and a panel-ready column, a 1930s center-hall near Phelps Manor with a warming drawer and a second oven - the same technicians cover all of it.
Every one of them is insured, background-checked and trained by the manufacturers whose parts he carries. We hire slowly and keep training, because you will judge this company entirely by the person standing in your kitchen.
We cover Paramus and Teaneck, New Jersey. Two towns, and nothing past them.
Which Appliance Has Stopped Working?
Eight categories and twenty-four brands, home kitchens and commercial rooms alike - a refrigerator drifting warm, an oven that will not hold a set temperature, a dryer turning without drying. Most of it gets diagnosed and finished inside the one visit.
Wolf | Thermador | Miele | Bosch | Viking | Liebherr | LG | Samsung | and sixteen more
We also cover Ice Maker Repair, Wine Cooler Repair, Coffee Maker Repair and the rest.
Service It Before It Quits
Tell us what you run and how hard you run it, and we build the visits around whatever is carrying the load - a family laundry room in a Teaneck basement, or a kitchen turning covers every night of the week.
The reminder comes from us. You never have to watch a calendar for it.

The Two Towns We Cover
Paramus and Teaneck, four miles apart along Route 4, and nothing beyond them. That is deliberate. A tight territory means tight scheduling and a van that is not stuck on a highway all afternoon. Each town page sets out the neighborhoods and ZIP codes we run, plus the repairs that turn up most there.
Questions we get asked
Which towns do you cover?
Paramus and Teaneck, both in Bergen County, New Jersey. Two towns and no more, which is exactly why the scheduling here is as tight as it is. Each town page lists the neighborhoods and the ZIP codes.
What hours do you keep?
All seven days. We open at 8 AM and close at 7 PM, weekends and holidays included. Ring us and we will look for a slot that fits your day.
How quickly can somebody come out?
Usually inside the week, and calling first thing in the morning tends to shake something loose sooner. A refrigerator running warm or commercial equipment sitting down goes to the front of the queue, since food and trade are on the line.
What does a repair cost?
Most jobs land between $150 and $400 depending on the appliance, the brand and the part involved. You get the exact figure in writing after the diagnosis, and the $95 service call is deducted from it if you have us do the work.
Which brands do you repair?
Twenty-four in all. Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele, Liebherr, Dacor, DCS, Bertazzoni and La Cornue on the built-in and professional side; LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, Kenmore, Frigidaire and Electrolux on the everyday side; plus commercial-grade kitchen and laundry equipment.
Do you work on built-in and high-end equipment?
Yes, and it is a large share of what we do. Refrigeration columns, wine storage, integrated dishwashers, wall ovens and undercounter units are routine work here, particularly in the Paramus rebuilds. Lining panels and hinges back up after door work is part of the job, never an extra.
What credentials do your technicians hold?
Insurance, a background check, training from the makers whose equipment they take apart, and EPA Section 608 credentials for work on a sealed refrigeration system. We are an independent repair shop and no manufacturer has appointed us.
What warranty do I get?
Thirty days on the part we fit and thirty on our labor, printed on your invoice. If that repair gives out again within the window, we handle it at no cost to you.
