Warranty Information

A warranty is worth exactly what is written on it. Ours is printed below, complete, so nothing about it turns up later as a surprise.

Parts We Fit

Every part we supply and install is covered in writing for thirty days from the day of the repair, or for longer where the manufacturer puts a longer term on that part. Should it quit inside the period, you pay nothing for the replacement.

Coverage attaches to that part and to nothing else. It is not a warranty on the rest of the appliance, and it does not survive misuse, a surge on the line, or an installation somebody else has altered since.

Labor

Thirty days of labor coverage comes with every repair as standard. If the same trouble comes back inside that window, the return trip is free.

Restaurant, Office and Building Equipment

Equipment running in a restaurant, an office kitchen or an apartment laundry room is covered thirty days on parts and thirty days on labor, the same as a household machine. A commercial machine works at several times the duty cycle of a household one, and matching the residential term would just mean homeowners subsidizing businesses.

What Is Not Covered

• Appliances we have not touched, and work done by someone else.
• Storm surges, flooding, pests, and equipment run outside the conditions it is rated for.
• Consumables and cosmetic wear: gaskets, filters, bulbs, belts.
• An unrelated problem turning up later on a machine we already repaired.

Making a Claim

Call (201) 000-0000 with the invoice number in front of you. We take it from there, and the return visit goes into ordinary working hours.
